
What is Zinio?
Zinio is an online magazine subscription service subscribed to by the Franklin Square Public Library. Zinio allows patrons to view magazines purchased by the Library on their computer or portable device free of charge with no expiration date. Each magazine is displayed in its entirety complete with original page layout, images, and advertisements.

Instructions:
New User Sign-In:
- Click the icon on the right side of the screen to access the Zinio login page.
- Click “Create Account” button. Enter your 14 digit Franklin Square Public Library card number (no spaces) and select “Validate.” Fill out the required fields (e-mail, password, repeat password, and your name) and click “Create Account.” A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you with a link. Click on the link and when prompted, select “Return to Login.”
- Enter your e-mail address and password and click “Login.” You will be redirected to the Library’s collection of magazines.
- Search by genre, title, or keyword for a magazine. Click on the magazine cover you wish to read.
- Create a free Zinio account by entering the information and clicking “Continue” (this is separate from the account you entered earlier but you may use the same information).
- Your personal preference page will open up. You may either answer the questions and click “Submit” or select “Skip.”
- You are now on your “My Library” page and the cover of your magazine will be pictured. To read your magazine, click on its cover. To return to the Library’s Zinio collection to choose other magazines, click on the “Return to Library Collection” tab on the top of your web browser’s page.
- Additional instructions for downloading to mobile devices, deleting a magazine from your collection, and downloading for offline viewing are available on the left side of the “My Library” page.
Return User Sign-In:
- Click the icon on the right side of the screen to access the Zinio login page.
- Enter your e-mail address and password and click “Login.” You will be redirected to the Library’s collection of magazines.
- Search by genre, title, or keyword for a magazine. Click on the magazine cover you wish to read.
- You will now be taken to the “My Library” home page. To read your magazine, click on its cover. To return to the Library’s Zinio collection click on the “Return to Library Collection Page” tab on the top of your web browser’s page.
- Additional instructions for downloading to mobile devices, deleting a magazine from your collection, and downloading for offline viewing are available on the left side of the “My Library” page.
