Back by popular demand... The Franklin Square Public Library Bus Trip
This year's trip will take us to the following New York City landmarks: The Cathedral of St. John the Divine This church, started in 1892, is built entirely of stone and is 2 football fields long and 17 stories high! & The Cloisters This medieval-style museum set high on a hill overlooking the beautiful Hudson River includes the famous Unicorn Tapestries as well as other beautiful artifacts dating back to the Middle Ages. Between visiting the cathedral and museum we will stop to enjoy a delicious lunch at Sylvia's Resturant
Would you like to join us? The trip is scheduled for Friday, September 24 from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The cost of this all inclusive full day of enjoyment is $86 per person and includes transportation, guided tours of the Cathedral and the Cloisters, as well as lunch at Sylvia's Resturant. Payment is due at time of registration. Registration begins on Tuesday, July 6, 2010. |
