21st Century Explorer (To access from home click HERE)
This database contains all of the resources that students need including encyclopedias, atlases, historic timelines, dictionaries, news sources, and other essential learning tools. Teachers will benefit from the ‘Teachers’ Resources’ tab containing curriculum standards, online training sessions, and ideas for fun interactive learning activities.

America the Beautiful (To access from home click HERE)
America the Beautiful is an interactive database for state-by-state history and current events for elementary and middle school students.  This database also includes timelines, profiles, games, and almanacs.

Encyclopedia Britannica for Kids (To access from home click HERE)
An encyclopedia and dictionary especially for young children. This database also includes educational games, videos, images, and guidelines for writing reports, science experiments, and research papers.

Infotrac Junior Edition: K-12
This periodical database is designed for students in junior high and middle school and provides access to a variety of indexed and full-text magazines, newspapers, and reference books for information on current events, the arts, science, popular culture, health, people, government, history, sports and more.

Kids Infobits
This is a database developed especially for beginning researchers in K-5th grade.  The curriculum-related, age appropriate, full-text content is from the best elementary reference sources and magazines available.  This database covers geography, current events, the arts, science, health, people, government, history, and sports.

Kids Search
This database meets the research needs of students in K-8th grade containing articles on current events, the arts, science, health, people, government, and sports.  This database also includes an encyclopedia and dictionary.

LearningExpress Library
This database offers the practice tests, exercises, and skill-building courses needed to achieve the results needed for school, work, and life. Receive extra help in elementary, middle, and high school subject matters (including SAT and AP subject tests). Learn how to use computer programs (Adobe and Microsoft) and brush up on important workplace skills (resumes and business writing). Prepare for the GED, US Citizenship Test, and other licensing, certification, and aptitude tests for a wide range of occupations. NoveList Plus K-8
NoveList Plus K-8 is a database of young adult, children's, and easy titles designed for children in pre-K, elementary, and middle schools utilizing the same search techniques and content of interests as the adult version.

Primary Search
This database contains full-text articles from more than 60 elementary school magazines as well as indexes and abstracts for nearly 100 additional magazines.  Also included in this database are images such as photos, maps and flags.

Searchasaurus
Searchasaurus is a kid-friendly database which allows the user to search for magazine articles as well as pamphlets, photos, maps, and flags. Also available: craft ideas and exciting educational activities suitable for young children.

Spanish Reference Center (To access from home click HERE)
This online Spanish encyclopedia, associated with Encyclopedia Britannica, provides comprehensive articles for high school (Enciclopedia Universal en Espanol) and elementary (Enciclopedia Juvenil) students.

TumbleBook Library
TumbleBook Library is an online collection of TumbleBooks (animated, talking picture books) which teaches kids the joy of reading in a format they'll love. TumbleBooks are created by taking existing picture books, adding animation, sound, music, and narration to produce an electronic picture book which they can read or have read to them. Children can also play interactive games based on the animated books.

TumbleReadables New Database!
This database provides an online collection of read-along titles for elementary, middle school, and high school students. Great for emergent, struggling, and reluctant readers, this database features adjustable online text, complete audio narration, sentences that are highlighted as they are read, and pages that turn automatically. Chapter books, early readers, YA novels, high interest/low level books for middle and high school students, and classic American and English literature are available.

TumbleTalkingBooks New Database!
TumbleTalkingBooks is a database of online audio book available from any computer with an Internet connection at any time. Listeners are not restricted to a check out period—books are always available and can be bookmarked by the listener and returned to at a later date. This database includes unabridged audio versions of classic American and world literature, non-fiction, fiction, YA, and children’s books.

World Book
The World Book is a premier online reference source containing every article from the 22-volume print set plus primary documents and images from many major subject areas.  A wide selection of games, activities, and crafts (available in Word Book for Kids) provide highly entertaining and educational learning experiences for children. Also included in this database is Enciclopedia Estudiantil Hallazgos —a Spanish language encyclopedia for elementary and middle school students.
