Ancestry.com Library Edition (In Library Use Only)
Allows the user to trace their family genealogy by searching original images of immigration, U.S. Census, and military records as well as the Social Security Death Index.

From Britannica.  Explore the rich and varied history of the United States through speeches, historical accounts, memoirs, poems, images, and multimedia. 

AP Image (To access from home click HERE)
The AP Multimedia Archive is an electronic library containing the Associated Press' current year's photo report and a selection of images from their vast negative and print library dating from the 1840s.

Associations Unlimited
Use this database to locate approximately 460,000 international and U.S. national, regional, state, and local nonprofit membership organizations in all fields, including IRS data on U.S. 501(c) nonprofit organizations. This database allows the user to monitor association trends and identify related associations.

Career Library
Available for a trial basis through December 2010! Career Library allows the user to take popular skill and career assessment surveys to determine the career which fits his/her needs and personality, as well as search for careers or colleges/universities based on the users interests, education, salary requirements, state, cost, and available majors. Career Library also provides the user with college planning assistance as well as resume help, important links and articles, and GED and SAT practice quizzes.

This database contains detailed information on more than 14 million US businesses, 210 million US residents, 855,000 US health care providers, 1.5 million Canadian businesses, and 12 million Canadian households.  Information is compiled from business and residential telephone directories, annual reports, 10-Ks and other SEC information as well as continuing Medical Education (CME) directories, federal, state, provincial, and municipal government data, Chamber of Commerce Information, leading business magazines, trade publications, newsletters, major newspapers, industry and specialty directories, and postal service information.

TumbleBooks
TumbleBookLibrary is an online collection of TumbleBooks (animated, talking picture books) which teaches kids the joy of reading in a format they'll love. TumbleBooks are created by taking existing picture books, adding animation, sound, music, and narration to produce an electronic picture book which they can read or have read to them. Children can also play interactive games based on the animated books.
