Life Skills: Enneagrams or What Kind of Leader are You?: Thursday, September 26 at 7PM (CANCELLED)
Take the Enneagram Personality Test and find out what type of leader you are! The Enneagram measures personality and helps you identify which of the 9 different types you fall into. Learn what your strengths and weaknesses are and what motivators will contribute to you taking a strong and positive leadership role. This program is presented by life coach Yvonne Saravia. Registration begins September 12.
Goal Setting for Optimum Results and Achievement: Thursday, October 17 7 PM (CANCELLED)
Learn how to implement what top world leaders use in their goal setting formulas. YOU have all it takes to accomplish anything! Life coach Yvonne Saravia helps you map it all out in this intensive workshop. Registration begins September 26.
Bud Abbott & Lou Costello Meet Frankenstein Halloween Movie and Pizza Fest: Thursday, October 31 7 PM (CANCELLED)
Calling all teens! Celebrate the season with a classic Abbott & Costello movie. Wear a costume and enjoy some pizza as two hapless freight handlers find themselves encountering Dracula, Frankenstein & the Wolfman. This film has been reviewed as “stupid, corny, hokey, entertaining, lots of good laughs”. Younger siblings in costume may attend only if accompanied by a teen. Registration begins October 17th.
Teens for Animal Rights: Thursday, November 14 7 PM (CANCELLED)
How does a fun and healthy vegan diet protect the planet and all its living creatures? Learn how to become a voice for the voiceless while exploring the benefits of veganism. Registration begins October 31.
Real Life: Manners for Teens: Thursday, December 12 7 PM (RESCHEDULED: JANUARY 16 @ 7PM)
This workshop defines etiquette and good manners as they pertain to teens and teen issues. Ms. Arely Mendoza-Cantos, founder of the Always Gracious Academy of Etiquette and Image in Malverne, will cover a variety of topics such as: family manners, greetings and introductions, verbal and non-verbal communication, proper and improper languages, public behavior, telephone/cell manners, being a host/guest, dress codes and interviewing for college. Registration begins November 21.
Steampunk Jewelry: Polymer Clay & Resin: Thursday, January 30 7 PM
This is a creative enterprise, fusing Steampunk style with handmade beads and hardware. Design your own unique pieces. Registration begins January 16.
