Welcome to the 5th annual Franklin Square Public Library Adult Summer Reading Club!
Monday, June 23 – Saturday, August 16
Registration Begins Friday, June 20.
Last year’s Adult Summer Reading Club was a huge success. Over 800 books were read by 87 adults participating in the program. The top three readers alone read a combined total of over 157 books.
Let’s try and top that number this year!
Who May Join:
The Adult Summer Reading Club is open to all adults with a valid library card.
Registration begins on Friday, June 21 (the same day as the 1-4 year olds and the 4-12 year olds) and is ongoing throughout the summer. Registration must be either in person or over the phone.
What to Do:
Once you’ve signed up, start reading! Every time you finish a book let us know by either:
- Submitting a book review ditto (provided at the time of registration and also available HERE) to the Librarian at the Adult Reference Desk.
- Submitting all your information online HERE (library barcode number required).
All participants who read and report on at least 4 books during the summer will receive a prize. For every four books read and reported on, the reader’s name will automatically be entered in a raffle to win an Amazon Kindle. The summer’s top readers will each receive a prize as well. All prizes will be distributed at the end of the summer.
The Adult Summer Reading Club will conclude on Saturday, August 16 (sorry, no reports will be accepted after this date).
